Just a quick note to remind you of the tournaments happening this weekend in the area.

Halifax has its big shindig happening at The Last Gamestore on Saturday, featuring BlazBlue, Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Super Street Fighter AE. 

Saint John's has its event on Sunday at West Side Charlies, featuring the above games as well as Super Turbo and Third Strike.

A tourney from our good friends out in Newfoundland, West Side Charlies will be hosting a tournament on November 20th. Games played include Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition, BlazBlue, Street Fighter 3 Third Strike and Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. "Success" is a 5 minute short film created and shot by one of our local Halifax players, Kenny Drake, made up entirely of footage taken from a 16 man Super Street Fighter 4 AE tournament we ran two weeks ago. At the time, we didn't know what he was weaseling around the store with the camera for, but he really created something special and inspirational here. Great stuff.
